![]() Somehow it came down from MS and it wasn’t a Windows Update. The app 100% wasn’t installed in the image. Today all my Windows 11 22h2 Enterprise imaged desktops had Teams auto install itself. (I would caution anyone who tries this solution, or any other solution that requires working with the registry to BACK IT UP first, just in case) Thanks to the “WesternGuy” for sharing this tip! Move the flash drive from the source machine to the target machineUsing Windows Explorer, find the file that you exported to the flash driveDouble click on it and Windows will place the new file in the appropriate Registry locationYou should now be able to open One Note and all the old folders and pages should be there You can actually export it directly to the flash driveIt should look something like this: reg suffix will be attached automatically by the Export operation. Give the file the same name as it had on the source machine – OpenNotebooks.The. (reminder: 14.0 = office 2010 15.0 = office 2013)Export this key to a file on a flash drive (right click and choose export)You will be asked to specify a file name and a folder for the file. HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Office/14.0/OneNote/OpenNotebooks So here are the steps I took to open all my notebooks from my Windows 8.1 pc on the HP 500 tablet with Windows 7 / Office on it.Open the application regedit.exe on the source machine and find the following key – On one of my tablets I have a clean install of Office with OneNote. ![]() I have multiple pc’s, laptops and tablets.
